Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 46/2012 of 30 March 2012 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
Annex II to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 10/2012 of 10 February 2012(1).
Commission Implementing Directive 2011/38/EU of 11 April 2011 amending Annex V to Directive 2004/33/EC with regards to maximum pH values for platelets concentrates at the end of the shelf life(2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following shall be added in point 15v (Commission Directive 2004/33/EC) of Chapter XIII of Annex II to the Agreement:
‘, as amended by:
32011 L 0038: Commission Implementing Directive 2011/38/EU of 11 April 2011 (OJ L 97, 12.4.2011, p. 28.)’.
Article 2
The text of Implementing Directive 2011/38/EU in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 May 2012, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee(***).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
