Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 101/2015 of 30 April 2015 amending Annex VI (Social security) to the EEA Agreement [2016/1284]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

  1. Commission Regulation (EU) No 1372/2013 of 19 December 2013 amending Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the coordination of social security systems and Regulation (EC) No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the procedure for implementing Regulation (EC) No 883/2004(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  2. Commission Regulation (EU) No 1368/2014 of 17 December 2014 amending Regulation (EC) No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the procedure for implementing Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems and Commission Regulation (EU) No 1372/2013 amending Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems and Regulation (EC) No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the procedure for implementing Regulation (EC) No 883/2004(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  3. Annex VI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Annex VI to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

  1. the following is added in point 1 (Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council):

    • 32013 R 1372: Commission Regulation (EU) No 1372/2013 of 19 December 2013 (OJ L 346, 20.12.2013, p. 27), as amended by:

    • 32014 R 1368: Commission Regulation (EU) No 1368/2014 of 17 December 2014 (OJ L 366, 20.12.2014, p. 15).’;

  2. the following indents are added in point 2 (Regulation (EC) No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council):

    • 32013 R 1372: Commission Regulation (EU) No 1372/2013 of 19 December 2013 (OJ L 346, 20.12.2013, p. 27),

    • 32014 R 1368: Commission Regulation (EU) No 1368/2014 of 17 December 2014 (OJ L 366, 20.12.2014, p. 15).’

Article 2

The texts of Regulations (EU) No 1372/2013 and (EU) No 1368/2014 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 1 May 2015, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(***).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
