Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 253/2015 of 30 October 2015 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2017/1042]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

  1. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1277/2014 of 1 December 2014 amending Regulation (EU) No 37/2010, as regards the substance ‘lasalocid’(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  2. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1359/2014 of 18 December 2014 amending the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 37/2010, as regards the substance ‘tulathromycin’(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  3. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1390/2014 of 19 December 2014 amending the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 37/2010, as regards the substance ‘eprinomectin’(3) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  4. Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The following indents are added in point 13 (Commission Regulation (EU) No 37/2010) of Chapter XIII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

  • 32014 R 1277: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1277/2014 of 1 December 2014 (OJ L 346, 2.12.2014, p. 23),

  • 32014 R 1359: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1359/2014 of 18 December 2014 (OJ L 365, 19.12.2014, p. 103),

  • 32014 R 1390: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1390/2014 of 19 December 2014 (OJ L 369, 24.12.2014, p. 65).’

Article 2

The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) No 1277/2014, (EU) No 1359/2014 and (EU) No 1390/2014 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 1 November 2015, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(****).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
