Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 264/2015 of 30 October 2015 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2017/1053]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

  1. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1106 of 8 July 2015 amending Implementing Regulations (EU) No 540/2011 and (EU) No 1037/2012 as regards the conditions of approval of the active substance isopyrazam(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  2. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1115 of 9 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance pyridate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  3. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1154 of 14 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance sulfosulfuron in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(3) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  4. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1166 of 15 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance ferric phosphate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(4) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  5. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1201 of 22 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance fenhexamid in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(5) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

  6. Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

  1. The following indents are added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011):

    • 32015 R 1106: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1106 of 8 July 2015 (OJ L 181, 9.7.2015, p. 70),

    • 32015 R 1115: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1115 of 9 July 2015 (OJ L 182, 10.7.2015, p. 22),

    • 32015 R 1154: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1154 of 14 July 2015 (OJ L 187, 15.7.2015, p. 18),

    • 32015 R 1166: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1166 of 15 July 2015 (OJ L 188, 16.7.2015, p. 34),

    • 32015 R 1201: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1201 of 22 July 2015 (OJ L 195, 23.7.2015, p. 37).’

  2. The following is added to point 13zs (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1037/2012):

    ‘as amended by:

    • 32015 R 1106: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1106 of 8 July 2015 (OJ L 181, 9.7.2015, p. 70).’

  3. The following points are inserted after point 13zzzzv (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/762):

    • 32015 R 1115: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1115 of 9 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance pyridate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (OJ L 182, 10.7.2015, p. 22).

    • 32015 R 1154: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1154 of 14 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance sulfosulfuron in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (OJ L 187, 15.7.2015, p. 18).

    • 32015 R 1166: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1166 of 15 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance ferric phosphate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (OJ L 188, 16.7.2015, p. 34).

    • 32015 R 1201: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1201 of 22 July 2015 renewing the approval of the active substance fenhexamid in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (OJ L 195, 23.7.2015, p. 37).’

Article 2

The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2015/1106, (EU) 2015/1115, (EU) 2015/1154, (EU) 2015/1166 and (EU) 2015/1201 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 1 November 2015, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(******).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
