Uitvoeringsverordening (EU) nr. 1116/2011 van de Commissie van 31 oktober 2011 tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant
DE EUROPESE COMMISSIE,
Gezien het Verdrag betreffende de werking van de Europese Unie,
Gezien Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad van 20 december 2002 tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant(1), en met name artikel 20,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:
Op de plenaire vergadering die in november 2010 in Jeruzalem heeft plaatsgevonden, hebben de deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering bij besluit van de plenaire vergadering hun voorlopige goedkeuring gehecht aan de toevoeging van Swaziland aan de lijst van deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering, met dien verstande dat deze goedkeuring moest worden bevestigd door een mededeling van de voorzitter van de Kimberleyprocescertificering, zodra enkele problemen zouden zijn opgelost.
De voorzitter van de Kimberleyprocescertificering heeft op 30 mei 2011 meegedeeld dat Swaziland is toegelaten als deelnemer aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering.
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 dient daarom dienovereenkomstig te worden gewijzigd,
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:

Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag na de bekendmaking ervan in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
