Uitvoeringsverordening (EU) 2020/130 van de Commissie van 28 januari 2020 tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant
DE EUROPESE COMMISSIE,
Gezien het Verdrag betreffende de werking van de Europese Unie,
Gezien Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad van 20 december 2002 tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant(1), en met name artikel 20,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 bevat de lijst met deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering en hun naar behoren aangewezen bevoegde autoriteiten.
De adressen van de bevoegde autoriteiten van diverse deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering dienen te worden aangepast.
In september 2019 hebben de deelnemers aan het Kimberleyproces van de Volksrepubliek China een kennisgeving ontvangen dat de Speciale Administratieve Regio Macau van de Volksrepubliek China de Kimberleyprocescertificering met ingang van 1 oktober 2019 formeel zal toepassen.
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 moet bijgevolg dienovereenkomstig worden gewijzigd. Met het oog op een zo snel mogelijke uitvoering door de Speciale Administratieve Regio Macau van de Volksrepubliek China van de Kimberleyprocescertificering ten aanzien van de Unie moet deze verordening met spoed in werking treden op de dag na die van de bekendmaking ervan in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie,
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:

Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag na die van de bekendmaking ervan in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
