Council Decision (EU) 2024/1168 of 12 April 2024 appointing a member of the Court of Auditors

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 286(2) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal by the Italian Republic,

Having regard to the opinion of the European Parliament(1),

Whereas:

  1. The term of office of Mr Pietro RUSSO expired on 29 February 2024.

  2. The Italian Republic has proposed that Mr Carlo Alberto MANFREDI SELVAGGI be appointed as a member of the Court of Auditors from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2030.

  3. Mr Carlo Alberto MANFREDI SELVAGGI should therefore be appointed to the Court of Auditors,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Mr Carlo Alberto MANFREDI SELVAGGI is hereby appointed member of the Court of Auditors for the period from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2030.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
