Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2195 of 4 September 2024 determining the format for submitting the reports of data referred to in Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 of the European Parliament and of the Council on fluorinated greenhouse gases and repealing Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1191/2014

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2024/573 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 February 2024 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and repealing Regulation (EU) No 517/2014⁽¹⁾, and in particular Article 26(9), second subparagraph,

Whereas:

1. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1191/2014⁽²⁾ established the format for the report to be submitted by producers, importers, exporters and certain users of fluorinated greenhouse gases in accordance with Article 19 of Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council⁽³⁾.

2. Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 has since been replaced by Regulation (EU) 2024/573. Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 establishes new reporting obligations concerning producers, importers, exporters and certain users of fluorinated greenhouse gases. In particular, the list of gases, equipment containing those gases and activities related to those gases has been extended.

3. Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1191/2014 should therefore be repealed.

4. The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee on fluorinated greenhouse gases,
